Authoring & Journal Selection
The University provides a variety of resources to support researchers as they prepare manuscripts and determine appropriate publication venues for their research.
Writing & Manuscript Preparation
- The University Writing Center offers guidance, training materials, and support for developing scientific manuscripts and improving academic writing skills.
- Research Education (REd) hosts workshops and classes throughout the year on publishing strategies, writing techniques, and practical tips for navigating the scholarly communication process.
Journal Selection & Publication Support
- The Spencer S. Eccles Health Sciences Library and the J. Willard Marriott Library assist researchers in identifying suitable journals, conferences, and other outlets for disseminating research findings and data.
- Library experts can also help researchers deposit publications, datasets, and supplementary materials into the University's Institutional Repository, USpace, ensuring long-term access and preservation.
