Department of Energy Reporting
It is the responsibility of the PI to become familiar with the reporting requirements established in the awards Federal Assistance Reporting Checklist and Instructions.
This reporting checklist is an example of the reporting terms you might see in your DOE award:

Please check your award to verify reporting frequency, content, and other requirements. Depending on your reporting terms, you will likely be asked to use several different systems for reporting functions.
New award setups in eAward should contain the full award document and not just the the Assistance Agreement. If you are missing your reporting requirements or any other documentation, please login to FedConnect and download the documentation.
FedConnect
- Log into FedConnect with your User ID and password.
- Click on the "Awards" tab (at the top of the screen).
- Using the search criteria drop-down menu, select "Award Number" as your criteria.
- Type in the award number and click on the “Search” button.
- Once the award is displayed, click on the title to open the award.
- If you haven’t already done so, join the Award Team by clicking the "Join Team" button (bottom right-hand side).
- Within the award, use the Message Center in the middle of the page.
- Click "New Message" to create a message.
- Compose your message and click "Send". Please note that you may also send attachments by using the "Attach File" button. This is the function that will allow you to submit attachments.
