Sexual Harassment Prevention
The University of Utah requires that all new employees complete training that addresses sexual harassment through mandatory orientation provided by Human Resources. Additional courses dealing with sexual harassment are also offered through the Bridge Learning Library in CIS. Customized training for students, departments, and university programs is available from the Office of Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action (OEO) by request.
Sponsor sexual harassment policies are outlined in Research Conduct. These policies vary but many require that the University report and share any allegations, findings, or determinations against personnel supported by research sponsors or include these terms in their award conditions.
Key University policies and reporting resources are detailed in Research Conduct Policies and Reporting Resources.
