Sponsored Projects Officer - Grants & Contracts


Manages the grants and contracts process from proposal submission through closeout for assigned departments/divisions including outgoing foreign and domestic subawards. Interprets complex federal (and other prime type) agreements. Reviews and interprets rules and guidelines for proposals and awards. Review, negotiate and accept grant and contract awards and agreements on behalf of the University. Drafts and/or reviews outgoing subawards and amendments ensuring proper flow-down of terms. Demonstrates ability to comprehend administrative and regulatory issues. Preferred qualifications include CRA, substantial knowledge of federal agency policies,  regulations,  and application requirements. Familiarity with electronic proposal/submission management systems preferred.

Manages the industry contracts process from proposal submission through closeout. Interprets complex  industry agreements. Reviews and interprets rules and guidelines for proposals and awards. Review, negotiate and accept  contract awards and agreements on behalf of the University. Drafts and/or reviews outgoing subawards and amendments ensuring proper flow-down of terms. Demonstrates ability to comprehend administrative and regulatory issues. Preferred qualifications include JD, substantial knowledge of university policies and regulations. Familiarity with electronic proposal/submission management systems preferred.

Sponsored Projects Officer - Industry Clinical Trials


Contracts Officer will review, negotiate and accept clinical trial contract awards and agreements on behalf of the University. Drafts and/or reviews outgoing subawards and amendments ensuring proper flow-down of terms. Demonstrates ability to comprehend administrative and regulatory issues. Preferred qualifications include JD and/or advanced degree,  demonstrated ability to comprehend administrative and regulatory issues, substantial knowledge of university policies and regulations. Familiarity with electronic proposal/submission management systems preferred.

Contracts Administrator


Supports OSP staff, department administrators, and faculty in pre- and post-award grant and contract administration.  Uses electronic systems to facilitate award administration and processing. Drafts standard form contracts, agreements and subaward documents on behalf of the University. Manages award reporting/close-out process.
